Just a small word from S. Diego, where about 20 folks viewed the film at the local arthouse tonight, where it is enjoying a week-long run. My husband and I found it at least as thought-provoking and eloquent than "Trembling Before G-d." Thanks for opening our eyes so that we could be aware of the vastness of Creation and human experience.
oops! Forgot to say that I liked the humor of the blurred penguin face (a filmic reference to Happy Feet, or just an aside about needing to blur faces?). Also, you probably want to go to your settings in blogspot, to enable comments moderation so that you can filter out spam. I will try to write more later on my own blog. We appreciated the effort that you and your Iranian anonymous filmer went to to record the hideous consequences of demonizing fellow citizens to the point that they become refugees.
