May Allah protect us from this.

Another email from Amina, after Muhsin responded citing some of the Quranic 'evidence'. I withhold comment at this point.

Hello muhsin and parves,

Sorry for the late reply, been busy. Yes I would like to continue talking about this issue. The following is my opinion based on my education thus far, I have derived some othe wording from an Islamic website.

First, I would like to appologise for calling you a non-Muslim or detesting your righteousness, I have no right to do so, however, when something that is undoubtedly prohibited in Islam is made permissible by someone on his own accord, then that person is deemed a kafir (non-Muslim). Homosexuality in all its dimensions is forbidden (will explain soon) and you as an imam are declaring it halal, you are a sympothiser and an advocate for it, and parves, you're adopting it! Hence strictly speaking, homosexual 'muslims' aren't really muslims, just because they believe in Allah or God means nothing because you have atheists and other non-Muslim homosexuals who also believe in God.

Second you say homosexuals struggle with their sexuality as it is something innate and cannot be wished away.
The fact that Allah orders homosexuals (as He did via Prophet Lut to the homosexuals in his place, Sodom) to repent and leave it, shows that homosexuality is something that is not compulsive brought upon them by their genes without a choice, but rather Allah's ordering them to stop shows that they are able to stop it if they wanted. If they couldn't have stopped this, Allah would not have ordered them to nor punished them for something not in their hands. But Allah referred to it as a fahisha (an obscenity and a sin) and the homosexuals as those having "transgressing all bounds," [Quran 7:80-81]
And (remember) Lut, when he said to his people: "Do you commit the fahishah (worst obscene sin) such as none preceding you has committed in the worlds? Verily, you practice your lusts on men instead of women. Nay, but you are a people transgressing beyond bounds (musrifoon)." [Quran Surah A'araaf 7:80-81]

To this day, I have never heard of Prophet Mohamed asw sympothising with 'gay' people who upheld prayer. I do not know who Everett Rowson is but it doesn't sound very Islamic. On the contrary, the Prophet asw said that what he feared for his ummah after him, the most, was homosexuality. And I am sure you know some of the signs of the day of judgment is man immitating women and women immitating me, men going after men and women going after women.
It is our responsibility to point out the error in your deeds, for a Muslim is one who wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself, I dislike to see you guys so utterly misguided, yes I agree Allah sw is our judge but we also need to enjoin good and forbid evil, a commandment placed on us since day one.
I don't think you can say this is your right, or gay pride or anything like that, you and all your rights are the property of Allah sw.
As for a Muslim, it is sufficient for him to know that his Creator, Who has more right on him than he himself, severely detests a homosexual act to be committed by anyone, as learnt from the Quranic verse quoted above [Quran 7:80-81].
I agree you said lets be Muslims about this and provide burhan (evidence). I have provided you with some burhan, I hope you can accept it for what it is, rather going around circles and making up commentaries to suit your unnatural desires. I disagree about your interpretation of homosexuality being innate as explained earlier. And in the Quran, it's quite clear that sodomy, homosexuality, anal sex, rape, desire for the same gender...are all dirty and abhored in the sight of Allah. Allah sw has not allowed one and forbidden the other. They are all equally sick.
But having said that truly all praise is for Allah – not a door did He shut (such as homosexuality) that would lead to extreme behaviour by prohibiting it in Islam, except that He left others (such as heterosexual marriage) wide open – paths that are balanced, upright and in conformity with the sound human nature that He Created us on, for a noble purpose.
Marriage to the opposite gender is natural and is encouraged. The fact that homosexuality is forbidden is testified in nature, you will never find 'homosexual' animals, otherwise, our very existence would seize to exist. And Im sure you know of the creation story where Allah sw created Adam (a man) and Hawa (a women) so that they may find comfort with each other and placed love and mercy between the two. There is a lesson in that for us.
Regarding the punishment I mentioned earlier with which the sodomites endured, here is the Quranic verse:
Verily, by your life (O Muhammad), in their wild intoxication they were wandering blindly. So As Saliha (torment, awful cry etc) overtook them at the time of sunrise; and We turned (the towns of Sodom in Palestine) upside down and rained down on them stones of baked clay. Surely! In this are signs for those who see (or understand or learn the lessons from the Signs of Allah). And verily! They (the cities) are right on the highroad (from Mecca to Syria, i.e. the place where the Dead Sea is now). Surely! Therein is indeed a sign for the believers." (15:51-77 Quran). The commantary I have at home supports what I mentioned earlier about this 3 fold punishment being such that no previous nation endured...
The punishment aside, I am not interesting in having a negative effect you, I simply want to point out its gravity and filth in the sight of Allah sw.
Regarding respect for Ramadan, I agree that we should respect everyone and be good all year round but my point was, we should at least feel ashamed because it is Ramadan, a month that is more beautiful than the others and deserves our utmost respect.
And finally "A`adhana Allah min dhalik" May Allah protect us from this.
I look forward to hearing from you, please be specific and address all the points I raised as I addressed all the points you raised. I pray Allah sw will guide us all and bless us with His mercy. I also pray that you guys will inshala find beautiful, pious women whom you will get married to and have children from.
Ameen
Thank you both for reading this and take care
Amina

Ok i have never wrote on your blog until now, there are 'homosexual' animals in the world and i have it proven http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homosexual_behavior_in_animals

Also there has been a test study that a chemical change that has changed flies from hetro-to homo so thi smeans it is in all accounts a natural effect. I can feel the writers compassion but he or she needs to understand that studies have been taken and social effects need to be taken out.

How do you put up with this Parvez? :( I feel sorry for you.

Don't you, at times, wish to sleep for a couple of centuries, and wake up in a world free of homophobia?

Peace, my friend. I admire you for your relentless courage. Love and regards.

anonymous yes there are homosexual animals but they are not purely homosexual, otherwise well... the procreation thing would get em.

There will never be a time when all animals (humans in our case) are homosexual so you don't have to worry about the procreation thing...it will take care of its self phil. Also, with our population slowly spiraling out of control it might do the world some good for people to stop reproducing...at least for a while.

Everyone has been created for a reason. Homosexuals could be considered natural population control :)

^The point isn't about if people will all turn gay or something. As for over population, thats contentious issue because in the pre 1960 world before oil began being used in the food production the amount of humans that could be self-suffiently kept on earth was a lot lower.

My point is that we eighter look at nature for the guide for what is natural(and since i am a muslim that argument doesn't fly with me) but even in nature you don't find any animals that never reproduce(aka purely homosexual)
The other possible way to justify homosexuality is by quranic evidence, and frankly it doesn't exist. (because if it did, it would be discussed and regulated like marriage is)

as for population control, that a silly argument. If we wanted to begin population control we could as a species decide that during war razing cities like the Mongols did is fine and i'd suggest that we would find population wouldn't be a problem any more.

mind you i have a lot of respect for homosexuals that have to put up with... the hate that they get with the territory and those that try to master their unique set of nafs.
